Recent Status: Very local.

Life Style: A single brooded species flying in summer. The larvae feed on the underside of a leaf of Salix. Sometimes from a folded leaf. They pupate on the tree or ground.

Identification: The moth has a cream colour heavily marked with black scales as scattered scales and elongate spots. The edges of the wing tip are chequered. There is a specific pattern. The species does not have the larger markings of C. proximella and is overall a dark species. More Info
